About WhisperCode

WhisperCode is a tiny indie studio crafting gentle, intuitive tools for real people – with modern tech, soft edges, and a touch of magic.

The Heart Behind WhisperCode

WhisperCode began during a flare-up that wouldn’t let go. I’ve lived with chronic illness and fibro for years, but in early 2025 everything crashed — I ended up bedridden at home for weeks, exhausted in every way.

A doctor asked me to keep a pain diary. On the good days I forgot. On the bad days I couldn’t face the paperwork. It felt like one more thing I was “failing” at — even though I was just trying to survive.

I realised it wasn’t me that was the problem. The tools were. We ask people in pain, burnout, and overwhelm to use systems that are cold, clinical, or just badly designed. So I decided to build something softer. Something that understood that some days, just opening an app is a victory.

That idea became SymptoSync — and WhisperCode grew around it: a small, witch-adjacent, heart-led studio where every project starts with one question: “How would this feel on a really hard day?”

What Matters Here

WhisperCode isn’t a big corporate lab. It’s one person, a lot of tea, too many ideas, and a promise to make tech that feels kind.

Gentle, Supportive Design

Interfaces that don’t shout at you, pressure you, or punish you for missing a day. Soft flows, calm colours, and features that respect limited energy.

Accessible, Realistic Tools

Built for brain fog, fatigue, distraction, and busy lives. Small steps, quick actions, and ways to capture “good enough” instead of chasing perfection.

Human, Not Corporate

No buzzword bingo, no pretending to be a giant team. Just honest, transparent work from an indie dev who actually uses the apps she’s building.

What WhisperCode Is Creating

The first focus is SymptoSync, a symptom & pain diary currently in closed testing. Around it, other projects are slowly taking shape – from romantic AI worlds to tiny helpers for everyday life.

Every app shares the same spine: compassion, intention, and a little bit of witchy sparkle. Some will support chronic illness and mental health. Some will exist purely for joy, escapism, and storytelling. All of them are designed to feel like they’re on your side.

If you’d like to see what’s already in motion, you can explore the current and in-development projects on the Apps page.

A Note from Lexii

Hi, I’m Lexii – the human behind WhisperCode. I’m a lifelong nerd, former web tinkerer, chronic illness girly, and someone who genuinely believes that small, well-made tools can change how a day feels.

I build slowly and intentionally, often with a hot drink nearby and a playlist of moody instrumentals (or hardcore Rock like In this Moment and Sleep Token, if we’re honest). I don’t have a marketing department or a huge team – but I do have lived experience, a lot of care, and a stubborn refusal to make anything that feels cold or cruel.

If any of this resonates with you – whether you’re someone living with chronic illness, a fellow dev, a healthcare professional, or just a curious witch wandering by – you’re very welcome here.

Thank you for even taking the time to read this. I hope something I build makes your life feel a little softer.

With love and code,
Lexii 🌙
